About Pomodoro Studio
What is this?
Pomodoro Studio is a free, minimal Pomodoro timer built for focused work. It is an independent project with no affiliation to any organisation. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no data collected beyond what is strictly necessary to run the app.
The Pomodoro Technique
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that breaks work into focused intervals — traditionally 25 minutes — separated by short breaks. After four work sessions, you take a longer break.
- 25 min work → 5 min break × 3
- 25 min work → 15 min break
- Repeat
Features
- Automatic 25-5-25-5-25-5-25-15 cycle
- Visual ring countdown
- Sound and vibration alert at session end
- Optional notifications — alerts work even when you switch apps
- Installable as a PWA (Add to Home Screen)
- No account required
Notifications
On first use, Pomodoro Studio will ask whether you want to enable session-end notifications. These alerts fire even when you have switched to another app. You can decline and alerts will still sound while the tab is visible. You can change your preference at any time in your browser or system settings.

Tips to improve focus
- Start the timer before you start the task — commitment follows action
- When the timer runs, work on one thing only
- Use the break fully — step away from the screen
- After four cycles, take a proper long break of 15–30 minutes
Questions
